Symtec Debuts Revitalized Heat Demon Brand at V-Twin Expo

Minneapolis, Minn., February 1, 2011 – Symtec, Inc., a Minneapolis, Minn., company that manufactures Heat Demon heated accessories for motorcycles and ATVs, will reveal the new Heat Demon logo, product packaging and point of purchase display at the V-Twin Expo in Cincinnati, Ohio, Feb. 5-7.

The familiar cartoon flame in the logo has been replaced with a stylized trident, creating a sleek, updated look. The new, consumer-friendly product packaging features uniform product names, comprehensive, four-color product shots and complete Heat Demon product line information. The Heat Demon line includes grip warmers, heated vests and foot warmers.

The rebrand is the first major move by the company’s new president, Riley Harlan, who purchased Symtec in August of 2010.

“Our former logo and overall brand identity didn’t properly reflect the dynamic nature of the Heat Demon product line. This new look is more fitting of our innovative products and part of a larger plan to move Heat Demon forward as a recognized, cutting-edge brand in the powersports industry,” said Harlan.

The new product packaging will appear at dealerships this fall. The next step for Symtec will be to apply the new brand identity to the Heat Demon website with a complete redesign.
